Ornament Wreath

I got this great idea from Melissa in Texas.  This ornament wreath was super easy and cheap to make.  All you need is ornaments (I got plastic in case it falls off my door), a wire hanger and a hot glue gun.  Pop the tops off the ornaments and hot glue them into place.  Shape the hanger into a circle and then untwist the top.  String the ornaments onto the open hanger and then twist the hanger back together once you have them all on.  I had a few bare spots so I took a few of the left over ornaments and glued them into the gaps.  I tried to tie the hanger tighter, but I just couldn't do it hence the gaps.  I will cut off the excess wire and use pretty ribbon to hang it from my door.

Glitter Ornaments

Ever since I saw these glitter ornaments I have been wanting to make some.  Sadie and I had a blast making them.  They are plain glass ornaments that have been coated on the inside with floor wax and then covered in glitter. They are so sparkly in real life and these pictures just don't do them justice. The best part is that since the glitter is inside it doesn't get everywhere.  Even though they are beautiful on their own, I decided to add some vinyl to them to jazz them up some more (I cut the vinyl with my cricut expressions).

Craft Blog

I have decided to start a craft blog for all of my crafts, scrapbooking, vinyl, jewelry, etc.  I will keep my old blog going, but it will be more of a personal blog so that my family and friends can keep up with us and our life here.
